Hope you all enjoyed some much needed rest, tons of leftovers and good family and friends. </p> <p> Just a quick note, we will be doing a phone banking event next Thursday, DECEMBER 4th at our Office (4173 Macarthur Blvd Suite 10). If you or anyone you know might be interested in coming out on Thursday night from 6pm-8pm to make some phone calls and spread the word about Oakland Food Connection, please let us know! </p> <p> We will be making food for our lovely volunteers so please let us know if you'll be able to come by so that we know how much food to make! This is a great way to get a few extra volunteering hours in, meet some new people and learn a little bit more about OFC! </p> <p> Phone Banking <br /> Thursday, December 4th <br /> 6-8pm <br /> OFC Office <br /> 4173 Macarthur Blvd Suite 10 </p> <p> Please RSVP by Wednesday, December 3rd. </p> <p> --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- </p> <p> Also, I'd just like to extend my gratitude to all the wonderful people I've met and things I've learned in the last 6 months. </p> <p> Working at Oakland Food Connection has been a life-changing experience for me in the most positive way, and I am thankful to each and every person and event that has shaped that experience for me. </p> <p> I will be leaving OFC (temporarily) on December 13th to finish up my degree in Community Studies at UC Santa Cruz.
